What We Do

4H Farm is a family owned and operated farm specializes in selling quality trail and field trial Tennessee Walking Horses and Spotted Saddles Horses as well as Ranch Type Using and Trail Quarter Horses. We also have commercial beef cattle for sale at all times (Bred Cattle, Open Cattle, and Cow/calf pairs). We take pride in representing our cattle and horses accurately and stand behind  the livestock that we sell.. Cattle and horse sales are our primary business and our goal is repeat business within our community. Satisfied customers are the best advertisement that we can have.

Trip is the son of a mixed practice veterinarian (large and small animal) and has been in the cattle and horse business his entire life. He graduated in 1996 from Auburn University with a BS degree in Animal and Dairy Sciences Pre-vet option. He has bought and sold horses and cattle independently since the age of 12. Trip’s father had an employee drive him to and from sales and delivered sold horses and cattle until he was old enough to obtain a drivers license.

Involved in the Community

Past president of County Cattlemen’s association, Vice president of local poultry grower’s association, Vice president of Barbour County Farmer’s federation board, County Commissioner Barbour County AL representing District 7, Member of American Quarter Horse Association, and proud Member of Louisville Baptist Church.
