“Lucky” is a coming 5 yr old, 15.3-16 hand ranch type bay gelding. He has an excellent quarter horse confirmation. Lucky is a beautiful dark bay with a wonderful disposition. He has been my personal gelding for the past 2 years. Lucky has been used to doctor sick cattle, check cattle and fences, pen and sort cattle, track cattle in the practice pen, and extensive trail riding. He is my “go to” gelding. I have even guided quail hunts on him. You can pop a Bull Whip, throw a rope, and shoot off him. I would not sell him as a beginner’s horse even though my 8 yr old son does ride him in the round pen and outside after I have used him for a while. I have let an intermediate teenager ride him on a trail ride and had no problems. When you are working, I would recommend an experienced rider. Lucky rides with a low head and no tie-down. He loads, clips, and shoes well. At 5 years old he can still go in any direction. He can go to the roping pen, remain an all-around using gelding, or the best trail horse in the group.

Horses for sale

All of our horses are work ready, ranch proven working stock. We sell Using Type and Trail Quarter horses. Our horses are well built, good mannered horses with color. 4H Farm Quarter Horses are exposed to cattle, other horses, dogs, atv’s, noise, and life. They are used for ranch work, trails, kids play days, parades, and at times guiding hunting parties.

Horse Sales

In addition to our well trained working Quarter Horses, we offer Plantation and Field Trial Tennessee Walking Horses and Spotted Saddle Horses for sale. These horses are exposed to the same things as our Quarter Horses but not the ranch work. They are trail ridden extensively, hunted on and used to guide. Many are used as guest horses.
